(Soil) Cleaning'Thorough' cleaning
Since 1996, the subsidiary of ‘Jansen Recycling B.V.’ in Helmond has been equipped with an installation for processing contaminated soil, soil containing asbestos, sewage sludge, road wiping sand, sieve sand and other fine-grained mineral waste. In the installation, these materials are cleaned in an extractive manner (washing).
The link to the rubble washing installation (aquamator) elsewhere on the site is a unique feature of this installation. This link enables ‘Jansen Recycling B.V.’ to also process the (0-4 mm) fine fraction washed out of the recycled aggregates within its own processing site.
The waste submitted for processing is metered via a feed hopper, a filling bunker or a pipeline into the installation and integrally processed into a fine concrete aggregate for use in the concrete and concrete products industry, or as a secondary raw material for use as a road base / embankment in the civil engineering sector. By using various separation and cleaning techniques, the clean sand fraction is separated from the contaminated sludge fraction. After water removal, the sludge fraction is transported to an approved processor.
‘Jansen Recycling B.V.’ performs its soil cleaning activities in accordance with a certificate according to BRL 7500. The cleaned end products are provided with a certificate also.
