The activities of ‘Jansen Recycling B.V.’ focus on the processing of mineral waste into secondary concrete aggregates for the concrete and concrete products industry. Recycled aggregates and cleaned sand are well known, generally accepted alternatives for the use of natural sand and gravel, and are used on a large scale. However, ‘Jansen Recycling B.V.’ also focuses on the processing of other, less well-known waste, into concrete aggregate in the concrete and concrete products industry.

One example of this is glass. Waste glass is generally collected separately and recycled so that it can be re-used as a raw material during glass production. However, glass flows also exist that are not suitable for recycling by the glass industry (e.g. glass flows that are contaminated with non-vitreous materials, or glass that is processed in specific applications). ‘Jansen Recycling B.V.’ wishes to provide a solution for these waste flows.
